Co-Athletic Trainer of the Year - Hannah Mason (Life Pacific)

Hannah Mason has made a significant impact on LPU's campus in her first year in San Dimas and her hard work has been recognized by her peers.  Upon her arrival at Life Pacific, Mason incorporated a system for student-athletes to schedule when they will come in for evaluation, rehab, and injury prevention.  This change helped increase efficiency in the LPU training room.  Mason also revamped and established policies and procedures that has added tremendous value to the athletic department.  Some of those items include, Emergency Action Plans (EAP) for all facilities on campus, liability waivers, and concussion testing protocols.  Mason was also a huge asset to the conference office as the lead AT during the 2023 Women's Volleyball Tournament and the 2024 GSAC Baseball Tournament.

When asked to reflect on what it means to receive the Co-Athletic Trainer of the Year honors, Hannah stated, "I am so honored to receive the Co-Athletic Trainer of the Year!  I feel so blessed to be surrounded by amazing staff, coaches, and fellow ATC's that have helped me grow in the profession and continue to develop me as an Athletic Trainer.  Thank you to the GSAC for this award!  God is good."

Athletic Director, Davis Nuaimi, shared his thoughts on Mason's receiving of this award by stating, "I can not think of anyone more deserving of this award.  Hannah is a rockstar and we are extremely lucky to have her here at LPU.  She has had an immediate impact upon our department since she arrived last year.  She has a servant-leader's heart and her committment to the care and well-being of our student-athletes is evident.  Way to go, Hannah!!!"
