Men's Basketball Season Wrapup
SAN DIMAS, Calif. – The Life Pacific Men's Basketball season was full of bumps in the road that derailed the Warriors' hopes of qualifying for the GSAC tournament. However, LPU continued to push forward through a season riddled with injuries and narrow defeats. "Overall, I believe that we grew as a program and we didn't win as many games as we like, but because of the trial by fire circumstances and how we were a very young ball club, we earned valuable experience going into next season," said Head Coach Tim Cook. After only losing two seniors this season, LPU will use the experience gained from this season to help them fight to reach the GSAC tournament in the future. The Warriors will have a total of 13 returners coming into next season. Cook continued: "We do tons of things also behind the scenes to establish building blocks of life lessons. We develop young men's character on and off the court. For that, I am incredibly grateful for the humility and learning that goes into a full season. I believe that LPU athletics and the school prepares these men for the world. Jesus changes hearts, we are vessels to distribute the gospel." With a strong emphasis on character work on and off of the court, the Warriors will continue to move forward regardless of what obstacles they may face.

In his sophomore campaign, the way he has changed his mentality and developed his strength and skillset is an attribute that not a lot of players have. He has ascended not only into a difference-maker for our LPU basketball team but as a possible All-GSAC league nominee. He is a tough, hard-nosed basketball player and has tremendous upside going into next season." - Tim Cook

He is one of the premier three-point shooters of all time at LPU and in the nation. He will continue to develop other parts of his game to become a well-rounded player as he enters his senior year. We are looking for more leadership on and off the court from Colin and much-needed experience as he is one of three seniors going into 2020-21." - Tim Cook

Having to defend bigger and athletic kids all year, he was diligent in his actions and he continues to be a player who will work on his game to get better daily. I look for Kyler to continue to flourish here at LPU and be an intricate part of our program in 2021." – Tim Cook
