Warriors Withstand Corban's Late Push to Improve to 4-2
San Dimas, Calif. — Life Pacific Men's Basketbll held on for a dramatic 68–66 victory over Corban University Saturday night at Mehl Court, improving the Warriors' early-season record to 4-2 and extending the team's string of tight finishes.
The contest was a back-and-forth battle from the opening tip. Life Pacific carried a 35–26 lead into halftime and was able to stretch the lead to 15 late in the second half, but Corban rallied in the behind a barrage and trimmed the margin to one point as they had an opportunity to take the lead with a last second layup.

Xerian Anderson led the Warriors with a game-high 19 points and 7 rebounds, delivering efficient scoring inside and on the glass.
