Irvine, Calif. — The Life Pacific Men's Soccer team battled to a 0–0 draw against Hope International on Saturday afternoon at the OC Great Park, securing their first GSAC point of the season in a gritty defensive effort.
The Warriors showed composure and resilience against a high-volume Hope International offense that fired 32 total shots, but Life Pacific's defensive unit held firm. Goalkeeper Ozzy Morales was outstanding, recording 6 saves in the shutout performance.
Anchoring the back line, Jose Alvarez, Sage Belanger, and Israel Ramirez turned away multiple dangerous crosses and set pieces, while midfielders Anthony Martinez and Anthony Miron provided critical cover in transition.
Offensively, Life Pacific created key opportunities of their own — taking 9 total shots, including two on goal from Jesus Marin and Dominic Tejeda, both testing the Hope goalkeeper early. Canbek Genc and Matthew Raya also added quality chances, keeping pressure on the Royals' back line throughout the second half.
With the draw, Life Pacific earns its first point in conference play and looks to build on the momentum when they head on the road to Arizona next week to take on Arizona Christian and Embry-Riddle.
