LPC Athletes Display Unity at Pomona Pitzer Invitational

Pomona, Calif. – Life Pacific Men's and Women's Cross Country teams both competed at the Pomona Pitzer Invitational on October 14. The event featured many NCAA Division three and NAIA schools.

Among the spectators was a large gathering of athletes showing support for their fellow Warriors. The Women's Volleyball team and Men's Basketball team came out to cheer on the LPC runners as they ran the grueling course at Pomona Pitzer.

LPC's top runners were Seth Sassounian, Blake Terry and Elizabeth Yerkes.

"It was a great feeling to have my fellow athletes out there supporting the runners this past Saturday. It really motivated me to make them proud and represent LPC. It was such a joy to run with the support that was present and I appreciate everyone for showing up," said Blake Terry.

This weekend the Warriors showcased that their unity goes well beyond their own individual teams. Life Pacific's athletic programs stand together as one unified group regardless what sport they compete in.
