Allison Ayala Finishes As GSAC 3-pt. Leader

SAN DIMAS, Calif. - As a true freshman, most players wouldn't really expect to lead a conference as illustrious as the Golden State Athletic Conference in any individual statistical categories. However, Allison Ayala is not your average true freshman. In high school, Allison set the CIF record for both 3-pointers made in a season (168) and total 3-pointers made in a career (485). Ayala finished her freshman campaign at Life Pacific as the conference leader in total 3-pointers made along with average 3-pointers made per game. Her total of 88 made 3-pointers is the 10th highest in the country, while her average of 3.14 made 3-pointers per game is the 4th best in the nation. The GSAC currently includes the nation-leader in both rebounds and points so leading such a loaded conference is no small task for any player but it is even more impressive to be done by a player that was playing high school basketball just one year ago. It is safe to say Allison Ayala has already made her mark in college basketball and she will have 3 more years to light up the scoreboard as a Warrior sharpshooter.

"Leading the GSAC in 3s made per game is a big achievement and it feels great. This GSAC conference is so competitive and tough to be in so I'm grateful for this achievement." - Allison Ayala
