Women's Basketball Faces Changes
SAN DIMAS, Calif. – Life Pacific announces future changes within the Athletics Department. Head Women's Basketball Coach, Bryana Williams, and Assistant Women's Basketball Coach, Octavious Wiley have transitioned out of their roles at LP. The administration at Life Pacific expresses its gratitude for the important work that Coaches Williams and Wiley have done over the inaugural year of the Women's Basketball Program in the NAIA League and GSAC Conference. They have both made significant investments in our campus community and built a solid foundation for the future of the program.
HR Director Heidi Bonadie states, "LP thanks Coaches Bryana Williams and Octavious Wiley for their contributions in coaching the Women's Basketball team these past several months. As both coaches transition out of the head and assisting coaching roles, Lead Men's Assistant Basketball Coach Rich Salgado and Athletics Director, Tim Cook, will provide interim leadership over this team."
Tim Cook shares his gratitude for the coaching staff, "We want to thank Coach Williams and Coach Wiley for taking over the Life Pacific Women's Basketball program in its first year. They did everything they could in a difficult circumstance to maintain the mission, have godly attitudes, persevere through injuries, and started a new program in the best conference in the country. We wish Coach Williams and Coach Wiley the very best as they pursue other professional opportunities."
