Warrior's Bench Lead Them to Victory Over Flames
San Dimas, CA - Life Pacific Women's Basketball turned in one of its most complete performances of the season, cruising to an 87–43 victory over Bethesda behind unselfish offense, balanced scoring, and relentless pressure on both ends of the floor.
The Warriors set the tone early, jumping out to a quick lead and never looking back. After allowing just two points in the opening minutes, Life Pacific rattled off a strong first-quarter run fueled by crisp ball movement and efficient finishing. The Warriors closed the opening frame up 22–10, already showcasing the depth and chemistry that would define the night.
Offensively, Life Pacific was at its best when sharing the ball. The Warriors assisted on 25 of their 34 made field goals, consistently finding the extra pass to create high-percentage looks. That ball movement translated into balanced scoring across the lineup, with multiple players contributing throughout all four quarters.
Ebony Cooper and Ysabel Puente led the starters with 12 points apiece, combining efficiency with defensive activity early. Kailey New filled the stat sheet with nine points, nine rebounds, and five assists, while helping anchor the offense during key stretches. Adrianna Torres added seven points, and the starting group set the foundation with strong execution on both ends.
The bench provided a major spark, accounting for 47 points and keeping the pressure on Bethesda throughout the game. Kiana Salcedo led all players in the game with 13 points while adding three assists, consistently attacking the paint and finishing through contact. Abbigail Hartt connected on three triples on her way to 11 points, including back-to-back threes late in the first quarter that helped push the lead to double digits. Brooklyn Waldram chipped in eight points and three assists, while Shekinah Brattrud added six points, including a pair of timely baskets in the fourth quarter.
Life Pacific continued to build separation in the second quarter, using a mix of transition buckets and inside-out offense to take a 42–19 lead into halftime. The Warriors maintained that momentum coming out of the break, opening the third quarter with another strong run highlighted by consecutive three-pointers and assists that pushed the lead past 25.
Defensively, the Warriors were just as sharp, forcing turnovers and limiting Bethesda's opportunities while controlling the glass. Jaelyn Ramos posted a team-high 11 rebounds to go along with five assists, helping Life Pacific dominate the paint and ignite second-chance opportunities.
By the fourth quarter, Life Pacific had firmly taken control, continuing to move the ball and extend the lead while maintaining intensity on defense. The Warriors closed the game with poise, finishing off the 44-point win as every player contributed to the result.
