Warriors Improve to 3-0, Following Victory Over Antelope Valley

Loma Linda, CA – The Warriors continued their impressive play from opening day, with another victory in straight sets, defeating Cal Pac rival, Antelope Valley, in a preseason matchup.  From start to finish, the Warriors were dominant, taking the sets by a final score of 25-12, 25-17, 25-8.  In this match, the Warriors were led on the court by returners, Stephanie Mosley and Kate Murray, who finished with a combined 11 kills.  Marissa Ryerson left her impact on the court as well, finishing with 7 assists in 2 sets. Newcomers, Kate Smith, Mallory Villarreal, and Kei'ana Pascua, had an immediate impact as well.  Villarreal hit an impressive .714 and secured 5 kills, while Kate Smith added 3 kills and 6 digs.  Pascua led the teams with digs, finishing with 7 for the match.  With the victory, LPU improves to 3-0 on the season, sweeping the La Sierra University tournament.
