Warriors Sweep Tri-Match with Wins Over Westcliff and Caltech

San Dimas, Calif. — Life Pacific Women's Volleyball turned in its strongest day of the young season on Saturday, sweeping Westcliff (3–0) before defeating Caltech (3–1) at Mehl Court. The Warriors' two-win performance pushed their record to 3–2 overall, fueled by balanced scoring, efficient hitting, and strong defense.

 


 

Match 1: Life Pacific 3, Westcliff 0 (25–19, 27–25, 25–18)

The Warriors opened the day with a dominant sweep, hitting .295 as a team while limiting Westcliff to just .080.

Defensively, LPU posted 47 digs and 5 total blocks, controlling the match from start to finish. The key moment came in the second set when the Warriors edged Westcliff 27–25, swinging momentum firmly in their favor.

 


 

Match 2: Life Pacific 3, Caltech 1 (25–14, 18–25, 25–19, 25–20)

In the afternoon match, Life Pacific overcame a strong push from Caltech to close out the day 2–0. The Warriors hit .305 as a team, with five players recording 7+ kills.

The Warriors finished with 77 digs and 9 total blocks, limiting Caltech to .142 hitting. Smith's late serving run and timely kills from Hernandez and Collins sealed the fourth set and the match.
