His resume includes leading Lees-McRae College, an NCAA DII program in North Carolina, to back-to-back Conference Championships. Wes also brings extensive coaching and recruiting experience at the club level, as he joins LPU after coaching for a local club powerhouse, TStreet Volleyball Club.

How did you get into coaching:

  • I've always been involved in coaching at some capacity since when I was in high school. For volleyball, I started when I was asked by a college athlete if I could help their college team and give them some pointers. That started me down the journey of coaching for the last 20 years.

  • I found Christ in my late 20's, and looking back, I can see how God guided me to ministry through the sport that I love. I have been able to use it as a vessel to continue my ministry through coaching.
